Yes. Enable Multi-Currency Reporting in Master Settings → Analytics/Insights. Note: multi-currency metrics need a currency filter applied.
Yes. Allocadia supports multi-currency reporting, enabled via the Multi-Currency Reporting checkbox on Master Settings → Analytics/Insights.
Things to know once you turn it on
Multi-currency reporting introduces some complexity in metrics. Without a currency filter, metrics that sum across currencies return inflated amounts (because they're adding different currencies together as if they were the same number).
Any metric using the following underlying facts must be filtered to a specific currency to return correct values:
- Folder and Budget Measure Value (e.g. Target metrics)
- PO Amount (e.g. PO (items) metric)
- Actual Amount (e.g. Actual (items) metric)
The currency dataset is also exposed in the BI Export API for downstream reporting.
A note on whether to enable it
For organizations operating in a single currency, multi-currency reporting isn't recommended due to the added reporting complexity. If you're considering enabling it, contact Support or your CSM first to talk through the implications for your existing reports.
