The Allocadia Home page tour

Home shows your fiscal-year hierarchies in a table. Here's what each column means and where the key actions live.

The hierarchy table

After login, the Home page displays a table listing your top-level hierarchies — typically one per fiscal year (e.g. AOP — FY26, AOP — FY25). Each row has these columns:

  • Hierarchy — the hierarchy name. Click to open its budget grid.
  • Panel — opens the Rollup / Grand Total panel for that hierarchy.
  • Users — count of users with access.
  • Manage Users — edit and invite links for the admin to manage who sees this hierarchy.
  • Currency — the base currency of the hierarchy (e.g. USD).
  • POs — map (N) link for the hierarchy's PO mapping screen. The number is the count of unmapped PO records. A number shown in red means action is needed; grey / green (0) means nothing to map.
  • Actuals — same as POs, for actuals.
  • Approvals — pending approval count for the hierarchy.

Top-row actions

The row of buttons above the hierarchy table lets you:

  • + New — create a new activity plan or hierarchy.
  • Delete — delete selected hierarchies.
  • Copy — duplicate an existing hierarchy (useful for rollover or sandboxing).
  • Move — relocate hierarchies (if enabled on your account).
  • Import — kick off a scheduled or manual import for POs, Actuals, or line items.

Working with the map (N) links

The map (N) links on the PO and Actuals columns open the mapping interface for records that didn't auto-map. If the number is zero and shown in grey/green, there's nothing to map — either no PO/Actual data has been imported, or everything imported auto-mapped cleanly.

For the full mapping walkthrough, see How to map POs and Actuals on the Home page. For why newer FY hierarchies sometimes show empty while older ones have data, see Why don't my POs and Actuals show up on new fiscal-year hierarchies in Allocadia?

If a hierarchy isn't showing

If you expect to see a hierarchy on Home but don't:

  • Check your user permissions — you need at least Viewer access on the hierarchy.
  • Check whether the hierarchy was moved to a different account or renamed.
  • Ask your admin — if the hierarchy exists but isn't visible to you, it's a permissions grant.
