Managing your Allocadia account, notifications, and email preferences

Where to find your account settings, how to update your details, and how to control which Allocadia notifications you receive by email.

Opening your account settings

Your account settings live in the user menu — typically your initials or avatar in the top-right of the Allocadia header. Open the menu and choose My Account (or similar, depending on your version).

From there you can:

  • Update your display name and contact details.
  • Change your password (if your account has a local password — SSO-only users manage credentials in their IdP, not here).
  • Set your preferred language and timezone, where applicable.
  • Review your notification preferences.

Notifications and email preferences

Allocadia sends email notifications for events like approvals waiting for you, PR status changes, and comment mentions. The exact notification set depends on your account configuration, but typical categories include:

  • Approvals requiring your action.
  • PR submission, approval, and rejection updates.
  • Comments or mentions on records you own.
  • Scheduled import run results (if you're subscribed to a schedule).

Open Notifications or Email preferences inside My Account to see the toggles available on your account. If a notification category you expect isn't listed, that type of notification may not be enabled on your tenant — ask your admin.

Why am I not receiving Allocadia emails?

Common causes:

  • The notification is turned off in your preferences.
  • Allocadia emails are landing in your spam / quarantine. Check filters and ask IT to allowlist Allocadia's sending domain.
  • Your email address on file is outdated. Confirm it in My Account.
  • Your admin disabled the notification category globally.

If none of those resolves it, contact Support with the type of email you expect to receive, the approximate time of the triggering event, and your Allocadia user email.

Changing your email address

Changing the email on your Allocadia account can affect SSO matching and historical references. Most organizations handle this through the admin or via a Support ticket rather than from within My Account. If your email is changing (e.g. after a name change or domain migration), contact Support or your Allocadia admin.
