The GoodData data table is the schema you build Allocadia reports from. Here's an overview of the key datasets, attributes, and facts.
Datasets in GoodData
Allocadia exposes a core set of datasets in GoodData (and in parallel via the BI Export API):
- folder_budget — folder and budget hierarchy with rollup fields.
- folder_budgetmeasures — rollup and grand total metric values.
- category — categories and sub-categories.
- lineitem — line item attributes.
- itemmeasures — line item metric values.
- po_actual — PO and Actual records with mapping status.
- fydate — fiscal and calendar year date dimensions.
- currency — currency dimension (multi-currency accounts).
- targettransfers — transfer request records (V8+).
- activity, activitymeasures, activity_hierarchy, activity_budget — Plan-side activity data (V11+).
Attributes vs facts
- Attributes are the dimensions you group by: Line Item ID, Folder Name, Vendor, PO Line End Date, custom-attribute values.
- Facts are the numeric measures: planned amount, PO amount, actual amount, pending change amount.
Reports combine attributes (how to slice) with facts (what to measure) through metrics.
Attributes from custom fields
Any custom field your account defines on a panel (Details, Rollup, PO, Actuals) can become an attribute in GoodData — provided it's configured for analytics and the GoodData project is refreshed. See Why a field isn't appearing as an attribute in GoodData.
Seeing what's available on your account
Open any report in Insights and inspect the data table in the sidebar — all datasets, attributes, and facts available to your account are listed. If you expect an attribute to be there but it isn't, the field likely isn't configured for analytics (or the project needs a refresh).
Dataset versions
GoodData project versions (V1 through V11) have added datasets and attributes over time. V11 is the current baseline for most new accounts. If a dataset you expect is missing (e.g. activity_budget), your account may be on an older version — see your admin or contact Support.
