Short Description Hive9 is web-based. This article covers the login URL, password setup, Single Sign-On, and what to do if you can't get in.
What this article answers
- Where to access Hive9.
- How to set your password the first time.
- What to do if your organization uses Single Sign-On.
The login URL
Hive9 is accessed at plan.hive9.com in any modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). Bookmark this URL.
- If using SSO, attempting to login via this page will automatically redirect you to your organization SSO interface.
Setting your password for the first time
When your admin creates your user account, you'll receive a welcome email from Hive9 with a link to set your password. The link expires after a limited time window.
If the welcome email never arrives:
- Check Junk / Spam folders. Hive9 emails come from a
no-reply@hive9.comsender address. - Search your mail for the term hive9.
- Ask your IT team to check spam quarantine.
- Ask your admin to re-send your welcome email.
Resetting your password
If you've forgotten your password:
- Go to
plan.hive9.com. - Click Forgot Password.
- Enter your work email — the one your admin used to create your account.
- Check your inbox for the reset email.
- Click the link in the email and set a new password.
If the reset email doesn't arrive, see I clicked "Forgot Password" but the reset email never arrived for next steps.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
If your organization uses SSO, you may not need a password. Instead:
- Go to
plan.hive9.com. - The login screen redirects you to your identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, Ping, etc.).
- Sign in with your corporate credentials.
- You're returned to Hive9, signed in.
Some organizations let users choose between SSO and password login. If yours does, both work — pick whichever is easier.
What if I can't get in?
Try in order:
-
Check your URL. It must be
plan.hive9.com— not a saved bookmark of an old Hive9 environment. - Try incognito / private mode. Stale cookies sometimes block login.
- Try a different browser.
- Use Forgot Password if you suspect your password is wrong.
- Contact Support with the time you attempted login and any error message you see.
Common questions
Is there a mobile app? Hive9 is optimized for desktop use. The web application works in mobile browsers but layout and features are designed for larger screens.
What browsers are supported? The latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Older browsers may not render Hive9 correctly.
Will I be logged out after some time? Yes — your session times out after a period of inactivity. The default is 60 minutes, but your admin may have set it differently (between 10 and 120 minutes).
