Flagged records matched more than one Line Item. For POs, you can split the record across lines; Actuals must map to one.
What a flagged record is
When an import finds more than one Line Item that could match a record (e.g. two Line Items in different categories share the same PO #), Allocadia flags that record for review. Flagged records appear at the very top folder of the hierarchy on the Home page, with a red flag icon.
Reviewing a flagged record
- From Home, click the red
map (N)value for the topmost folder of the hierarchy. - Hover over the red flag icon on a row to see all matching Line Items that were found.
- Scroll through the record's data columns to decide which Line Item it should actually map to (or whether to split it).
Mapping to one of the matching Line Items
- Select the row.
- If the system's default pick isn't right, override by picking a different Activity Plan, Category, and/or Line Item.
- Click the purple Map button. The row disappears.
Splitting a PO across multiple Line Items
PO records (not Actuals) can be split across multiple Line Items with percentages — useful when a single PO funds work across more than one tactic.
- Select the row and scroll to the far right of the mapping screen.
- In the final column, click the green View Split link. The PO Split screen opens.
- The system pre-populates all matching Line Items for the PO. Remove or add Line Items as needed.
- Fill in the Split % column for each Line Item. The percentages must total 100.00 to save.
- Click Done. The split is saved and the record is mapped.
Actuals cannot be split
Only PO records support splits. If an Actual needs to be apportioned across Line Items, you'll need to adjust at the source (your accounting system) or create separate Actual records in the import file.
