Mapped incorrectly? Unmap from the Actuals screen with the red chain icon, then re-map from Home as usual.
When to re-map
Re-mapping is for cases where a PO or Actual record was mapped to the wrong Line Item β either by auto-mapping (a false positive match) or during a manual map. The goal isn't to delete the record; it's to move it to the correct Line Item.
Unmap the record
- Open the Activities / Budget tab and navigate to the Activity Plan where the Line Item lives.
- Right-click the Line Item that the record is currently mapped to.
- From the menu, click Go to Actuals (or Go to POs, depending on the record type).
- The Actuals (or POs) screen opens, scoped to that Line Item.
- Find the row you want to move. Scroll all the way to the far right of the screen.
- At the very end, there's an unnamed column with a red chain icon on each row. Click the icon on the row you want to move.
- The record is now unmapped and returned to its origin level:
- If it was originally imported and auto-mapped, it goes back to the top folder level.
- If it was imported directly to an Activity Plan or Folder, it returns to that level.
Re-map from Home
- Return to the Home page.
- Find the hierarchy level where the unmapped record now sits (indicated by a red
map (N)count). - Click the red
map (N)link and map the record to the correct Line Item following the normal workflow β see How to map POs and Actuals on the Home page.
