The Health Check dashboard in Allocadia

The Health Check dashboard surfaces data-quality issues across your Allocadia budgets. Here's what it tracks and how to read it.

What Health Check tracks

The Health Check dashboard is a pre-built view that surfaces data-quality issues across your Allocadia hierarchies. Common checks:

  • Line Items with incomplete required fields. Items missing a field your team marked as required.
  • Unmapped POs or Actuals by hierarchy.
  • Unused Line Items — items planned but never mapped against POs or Actuals.
  • Over/under-plan variances that cross your account's thresholds.

The exact set of checks depends on your account's configuration.

Finding Health Check

Open Insights → look for the Health Check dashboard in the dashboards list. If you don't see it, your account may use a differently-named variant (e.g. "Data Quality") or it may not have been enabled during setup.

Reading the status indicators

Health Check items typically show as counts or percentages, with color-coded status:

  • Green — healthy; no action needed.
  • Yellow — attention; worth reviewing.
  • Red — issue; needs to be addressed.

Click into any status to see the specific Line Items driving the number.

Health Check on V7+ accounts (the "Fields Completed" attribute)

Starting with GoodData project version V7, Health Check uses a dedicated Fields Completed attribute that returns "Yes" or "No" per Line Item based on whether required fields are filled. This replaces older per-field checks and is simpler to maintain.

If your account was upgraded to V7+ from an older version, your existing Health Check dashboard may need to be updated to use the new attribute. Contact Support if your Health Check numbers look off after an upgrade.
